Aurea begins as an exploration of the relationship between light and matter: an object that does not impose itself in space, but moves through it.
Its identity is defined by transparency. It occupies space without filling it, drawing a volume in the air without adding visual weight.
Light is not simply emitted, but passes through matter. Optical fiber and internal refraction within the glass work to make the invisible visible: the source recedes until it nearly disappears, while light becomes form. The structure amplifies and distributes the luminous intensity evenly, avoiding glare and visual clutter.
The result is a lamp that truly illuminates a space, yet does so without interrupting it. It is not an opaque object that asserts itself, but a luminous body that traverses the environment.
Aurea stems from the idea of making light the protagonist and the object almost secondary: a transparent volume that activates when switched on, transforming matter into visible energy.
The project works through reduction, distilling the design to its essential elements. Form is not built by addition, but by subtraction: what remains is a balance between presence and absence, function and perception.
Aurea is a table lamp designed to adapt to different contexts, from residential interiors to hospitality spaces. The quality of its emission and its formal discretion allow it to accompany space without dominating it, creating soft and continuous atmospheres.
The base introduces a visual and structural counterpoint, while light control allows the intensity to be modulated over time, strengthening the relationship between object and user.
Aurea is a lamp that shapes space even when switched off.
